M.Div. 1 and 2 correspond to B.Th. 2 and 3.
Students in B.Th. 1 or
taking courses at McGill to qualify for B.Th. 1 will be counted as
students in M.Div. 1 for purposes of tuition.
Refund Policy
Diocesan College students who are registered in B.Th. or S.T.M.
courses at McGill.
A student may withdraw from one or more courses, or from the
programme, in accordance with the regulations posted by the
university. Notification of withdrawal should be sent in writing to
the Principal of the College. Withdrawals prior to the McGill
deadline for “withdrawal with refund” will receive a full refund
from the College. After this date, no refund will be given.
Diocesan College students in certificate courses offered through the
Montreal School of Theology (MST).
A student may withdraw by notifying the Principal in writing. If the
student withdraws before the second session, he/she will receive a
full refund. Withdrawal after the second session will be refunded at
50 per cent of the course fee. After the third session, no refund
will be given.
In Ministry Year
Withdrawal must be made in writing to the Principal. A student
withdrawing within the first two weeks of the IMY programme
(including orientation week) will receive a full refund. Withdrawals
within the first month of the programme will be refunded 50 per cent
of the semester fee. After the first month, no refund will be given.
M.Div.
The M.Div. program
is integrated with the Bachelor of Theology program of
the Faculty of Religious Studies of McGill University.
Students must
have a first degree to be admitted to the 60-credit B.Th. program
which, combined with the In Ministry Year, amounts to a three-year
course of full-time study leading to the M.Div. degree.
